A solar-powered Meshtastic node built for reliable 24/7 outdoor operation.  

Designed to provide reliable long-range communication without cellular service, Wi-Fi or Internet, this node helps extend your Meshtastic mesh network by relaying messages between compatible devices.

The unit combines a high-efficiency ETFE solar panel, a genuine 5 dBi outdoor antenna, a high-capacity 10,000 mAh Li-ion battery pack, and a weather-resistant ASA enclosure in one compact package designed for continuous outdoor operation.

The node automatically switches between solar and USB power. Connecting USB automatically disables solar charging, allowing the device to charge and operate from USB without any manual switching.

Perfect for installation on houses, fences, poles, masts and other outdoor locations.

ETFE Solar Panel (2W+)
ETFE coating provides excellent light transmission, durability, UV resistance and self-cleaning properties, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use.

RAK Wireless Platform (RAK19003 Mini Base Board + RAK4631 nRF52 Core Module)
Built on the ultra-low-power nRF52 platform, well suited for permanently installed remote LoRa nodes.

Frequency
868 MHz (EU) or 915 MHz (US), preconfigured for your selected region.

Battery
Dual LG 21700 lithium-ion cells with a combined capacity of 10,000+ mAh. A fully charged battery pack may operate the radio for up to 30 days or longer without additional solar input, depending on temperature, LoRa traffic, transmit settings, Bluetooth use and other operating conditions. Battery operating temperature: −40°C to +80°C.

🔧 Installation

The node can be mounted to a house, exterior wall, fence, building, mast or similar structure.

Integrated mounting slots simplify installation, and optional mounting kits can be selected when placing your order to suit different installation requirements.

Install the solar panel where it receives as much direct sunlight as possible. Although the RAK Wireless hardware consumes very little energy, the system still requires some sunlight on most days to remain continuously charged.

🚀 Initial Setup

1. Attach the antenna before powering on the device. Operating a LoRa transmitter without an attached antenna may damage the radio.
2. Turn on the node and connect through the Meshtastic app using Bluetooth (make sure your phone Bluetooth is on). Default Bluetooth PIN: 123456
3. The radio can also be configured through USB using the Meshtastic web client: client.meshtastic.org/settings/radio

This product contains firmware from the open-source Meshtastic project, developed by contributors from the Meshtastic community. Meshtastic firmware is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. Source code, licensing information and project documentation are available through the official Meshtastic GitHub repositories.

✓ Filament colors may differ slightly between production batches. Small design revisions may also be introduced over time to improve durability, assembly or functionality without changing the core product specification.

✓ Damage resulting from incorrect mounting, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, incompatible accessories or operation outside the stated specifications is not covered.

✓ Radio range, mesh availability and successful message delivery depend on terrain, antenna placement, surrounding structures, interference, network configuration and the presence of other compatible nodes and cannot be guaranteed by the seller.

✓ By default, all nodes are shipped with the latest Meshtastic firmware. If you'd like your device flashed with MeshCore instead, just leave a note with your order or send us a message. Please note that MeshCore repeaters do not support Bluetooth, and all configuration is done over the mesh network.
